If this was AFCON we’d be hearing more nonsense about the competition

@burialhaven @TSD_NMBACKUP Who is also “calamity grade”. The point is there’s a very large gap between the top dogs and the little ones.

“The reason I’ll always defend calamity grade is because I love to Larp” is basically what he just said
Faded Thragg@moonhoneypapi
The reason I'll always defend "Calamity Grade" as a term is because it exists to seperate guys like Gojo, Yuji, Sukuna and Dabura from the likes of "Yuta" and "Geto" They're all Special Grade of course but there's a clear difference

@notrophiesfc Arteta and the defence deserve statues, he’s defo the worst player I’ve seen at arsenal
English

@henry_tilley @VictoryOwai Why are you lying now. Watch France vs Senegal please, the guy was pressing for 90 min
English

@VictoryOwai Odegaard doesn’t press - he fakes it because he doesn’t trust his ankle in the tackle

I've seen the reports linking Arsenal with Pablo Barrios and after spending time watching him properly, I have to give serious credit to Arsenal's scouting department.
This is exactly the type of profile we've been missing.
Barrios isn't the flashy midfielder that trends every weekend or dominates highlight reels. He's the kind of player you only truly appreciate when you watch the full 90 minutes. He makes everything around him work.
His biggest strengths immediately stand out:
• Elite ball carrying through midfield.
• Comfortable receiving under pressure and escaping tight spaces.
• Progressive passing that consistently breaks opposition lines.
• Incredible stamina and work rate.
• Intelligent pressing.
• Tactical discipline.
• The versatility to play multiple midfield roles.
Everything about his game screams "Arteta midfielder."
In Arteta's 4-3-3, I can already picture him operating as the left-sided No. 8.
Imagine this midfield:
Declan Rice (6)
Pablo Barrios (Left 8)
Martin Ødegaard (Right 8)
That isn't just balanced, it solves so many of Arsenal's current issues.
You get better progression from deep.
You become much harder to press because all three midfielders are comfortable receiving under pressure.
Possession becomes cleaner and more controlled.
The athleticism across midfield goes up another level.
And when Arsenal lose the ball? Good luck trying to play through Rice, Barrios and Ødegaard pressing as a unit.
People always ask for "technical security" in midfield. Barrios gives you exactly that without sacrificing intensity or defensive work.
He's only 22, but his maturity on the ball is well beyond his age. If Arsenal manage to pull this off, I genuinely believe he'll become one of those players fans wonder how we ever played without.

@cam_toucan @JonathanDBos @mountainslmao I didn’t know the game had anything to do with trans themes. I thought it was just her fighting her anxiety or something
English

@Thiefuser @mountainslmao Ahh makes sense. I'm not transgender myself so I don't have to worry about that sort of thing, but I appreciate the difficulties that lots of people go through. 🏳️⚧️
English

@footy2900 @ceebadx He choked like crazy in the second half of the season. He needs to redeem himself and show us he can still play
English

I love Myles but he shouldn't be starting every PL game yet, mainly bc he's young and we don't want the same situation as w saka, but also because he can still develop and improve
And I DO NOT want #36 playing the remainder of the minutes. Guimaraes is 28 also. So makes sense

He’s top 10 but unfortunately this fanbase is too bitter about an academy product wanting to try something new. I won’t let them lie on you Trent. We all watched greatness for 8 years. 👍
