New York ISO just issued an early warning that we must alleviate the strain on our energy grid statewide. Please do your part in keeping our power on by: •Setting your AC to 78 degrees. •Turning off lights and unplugging electronics you’re not using. •Waiting until early morning or late at night to run appliances like dishwashers or laundry machines. During a historic heatwave, AC will save lives — but only if we keep the grid stable enough for it to stay on.

New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool. Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can. Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment. A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.

It’s moments like these that remind me why I am running for governor. Every single community has a story and problems they need our help to solve. As governor, I will work with leaders to ensure that we invest in Ohio communities that have been overlooked in the past. Amazing Black Voters for Amy event in my hometown - Youngstown!

🚨 In a 5-4 vote, the Supreme Court ruled that federal law does not require mail-in ballots to be received by Election Day, holding that states may count ballots postmarked by Election Day but received afterward if state law allows it.

The Supreme Court has allowed TPS for Haitians to end, putting families in Springfield and communities across the country at risk of being sent back to a country in chaos. Congress can and should extend these protections.

If it were the other way around, Senator, Democrats would have this imp in the dock and they’d be building the gallows in the courtyard. Why is it Republicans don’t actually ever do anything when in power? Seriously.
