Our daughters are watching. They are learning what leadership looks like. They are deciding whether their hard work will be celebrated — or sidelined. I’m sharing this photo of my daughter with me at a conference from last week in Colorado, where she watched me present the science from my lab on a big stage. My lab @BrighamWomens @MGBResearchNews is making huge advances towards new cures for cancer. I want her to see women leading, competing, discovering, winning — and being recognized for it. Gold medals matter. Breakthroughs matter. Effort matters. And the next generation deserves to see those achievements honored — without qualification.

Our lab at Case Western Reserve University is seeking a computational biologist to work at the intersection of: • Single-cell genomics • Spatial transcriptomics • Tumor immunology • Brain tumors & rare cancers This is a central, high-impact role — working directly with patient-derived datasets to define immune programs that inform therapy. Edward was the first person to join the lab, moving from Boston with me. Math/physics background = steep learning curve, but learned a ton and now in a biomedical PhD! Proud of you!

@noamteyssier @arcinstitute Great! We just ran through 58 V2 libraries with the standard pipeline, but will have another 60 in a couples weeks and would be great to transition over to this if it works. We will want to test head to head on the 58 we already did the standard way first.

Today I’m happy to release cyto, a tool I’ve developed at @arcinstitute to dramatically increase our computational throughput with 10x-flex single-cell processing by more than 16X!

I'm not sure what I did to make this spot on @UHhospitals big billboard right outside of Cleveland Hopkins airport, but appreciate the recognition! 😊 Very Proud of work being done at UH and grateful to be building my research program at home in the #CLE
