You cannot keep tolerating evil. That’s why we’re in this position. Evil says tolerate me or you’re just like me. Tolerance of evil allows evil to grow and flourish and eventually people climb the ladder and express their evil explosively. A society requires boundaries of what is and is not acceptable in public discourse. Wishing for the death of someone should never be tolerated. Cancel culture therefore sets the boundaries of what will be tolerated.
