There is a movie from the 80s called “Teachers” and it starred Nick Nolte and Judd Hirsch and JoBeth Williams and Ralph Macchio and Crispin Glover and it had hit songs by .38 Special and Bob Seger on the soundtrack and it was a pretty scathing satire of the public school system that seems even more relevant today and I never see it on cable or streaming services and I started wondering if I dreamed it.

@Matt_Pinner Mel Brooks. Met him dining at Shun Lee Palace in Manhattan. Very nice.

@Straal_Jager @AndieAndie54183 I thought you never approached from the front. Saw a guy’s head get vaporized on Twitter that way
English

@AndieAndie54183 It’s because the blades flex and the whole rotor tilts. Working offshore you’re taught to duck and approach the aircraft from safe angles.

@PenixSaveUs I watch this in its entirety every time it hits the feed. every. time.

@teenychill You cannot tell me there aren't 40 hours of priceless Kamilla confessionals you just cannot

Just watched this weeks episode of #Survivor50. Every scene that didn’t include a woman (most of the scenes) was swagless and had the energy of like kindergarteners trying to show off for the teacher. Respect to anyone from the cast speaking out ab this imbalanced edit

@reality_ahmad2 Rachel 47. Doesn’t get enough credit but absolutely one of the best social players of all time.

@BuzzPatterson Mid-flight turbulence is nothing to get concerned over. I've experienced some dicey landing turbulence that caused pilots to do multiple go-arounds.
English

Quick flying tutorial for those who get nervous flying.
Turbulence is normal, expected, completely safe, and all aircraft are built for it. It’s not in any way, shape, or form, dangerous. It may be uncomfortable but that’s the worst that can happen.
The pilots up front are constantly seeking “smoother rides” which is why we change altitudes fairly frequently looking for the smooth air. We’re talking with ATC, and other carriers, to search out the smooth air. Also, when we turn on the “seat belt” sign it’s to remind you to stay seated and to make the company attorneys happy. You never know when you might hit an unexpected pocket of rough air.
I’ve flown through some of the worst turbulence you can imagine on several occasions. What we call “severe.” It’s not fun but it’s not dangerous. Pilots don’t like it either.
But, you are safe. I promise.

This one, hands down questions

Kristi Yamaguccimane@TheWapplehouse
In honor of Twitter’s 20th birthday what’s the worst tweet you’ve ever seen
English

@SurvivorPenner You have to EARN a nickname, Jonathan. With honor.

@UncleDee2103 @SharmSports I agree but we’ve had some pretty good weapons at RB here
English

@SharmSports The more I hear the pundits talk about Love, the more I think I want him. If he can be our Saquon Barkley or Christian McCaffrey, then I don't think we can or should pass that up. Dude is a WEAPON, one that I am not sure any Titans or Oilers team has ever had.
English

Which #Titans draft scenario do you prefer:
A: Take EDGE at 4 (Bain or Bailey) and WR at 35 (Cooper, Concepcion, Bell, Brazzell, etc)
B: Take RB Jeremiyah Love at 4 and EDGE at 35 (Malachi Lawrence, Gabe Jacas, Derrick Moore, etc)
C: Trade back in Round 1 and take a WR (Tyson, Tate, Lemon). Use 2nd Round Pick on EDGE

@damechatprrr @kenzerface There’s a few sides to this. Which is more troublesome? Having a child with an established career and financial stability at 45 or having a child at 25 as someone who still doesn’t know what they’re doing with their life?
English

@kenzerface Strong link with autism and elderly fathers.
Because you can, doesn't mean you should.

@MurrayHillGuy1 Tbh, I’d take your opinions on urban utopia more seriously if you were “Literally Any Manhattan Neighborhood Other Than Murray Hill”-Guy

Typical timeline of the American normie:
• Varsity athlete in HS (peaked at 17)
• Big Ten/SEC school, blacked out Thurs–Sat
• Moves to a “fun” city for 3–4 years to continue college lifestyle
• Slowly becomes a slave to a normie desk job
• Settles for a beautiful mid at 31 because “it’s time”
• Promoted a few times, still checks Slack at 9pm
• Buys a house 45 min outside the city in the suburbs
• Gains 30 lbs and calls it a “dad bod”
• Develops a concerning addiction to gardening/lawn care and Costco runs
• Sees friends 3x a year if lucky
• 2 family vacations a year (one beach, one obligatory holiday)
• Pops out a kid to run the exact same script
is this the dream or did we all just agree to it?
English

@BarbellFi I feel like people should just stop telling people how to parent. Mind your own business.
English

@TheBigBroTea At least Zac Brown had a glimmer of life behind his eyes
English

If you thought the Zac Brown segment was cringe just wait until Mr. Beast gets to Fiji #survivor50

@aipriverses Look at that guy’s face. Do you really think there’s any “thought process” going on inside there?
