I think about this all the time. when things are too good there’s always this tiny nagging voice in the back of my head telling me surely the other shoe has to drop at some point. so then I lie awake at night stressing about my kids or husband suddenly dying young or something 🥲
Wayne Rowcliffe 🦬@wrowclif

I think a lot of my anxiety boils down to my life is basically perfect and it feels like this couldn't possibly be sustained over the long term.

If leftists cannot document themselves they lose their will to act. Every single “legal observer” and “protestor” is filming themselves and writing about their actions not to collect evidence but because they are the star of a live action movie about their heroics. When you take away their audience or their ability to film or talk about themselves they simply give up and go home. This is also why they all talk the same way. You’ve all seen the dialect. “Hey so this is fascism” “Actually you’re literally a Nazi” “Wow so you’re just a racist” they all speak in this manner. They speak like they are breaking the fourth wall. It’s as though they’ve turned to the camera in the middle of their sentence, looking to an audience with some sort of “gotcha” expression or otherwise. “Are you seeing this?” “Yup… that just happened” Once you notice this you cannot unsee it. They all behave this way. This again is because these people genuinely believe they are the star of a movie about how amazing and righteous they are. When they can no longer be perceived or observed they cease to exist entirely. EMP Minneapolis

It’s a sad day to see Claire’s close down. This is what happens when kids are brought up on influencer culture, they're not happy with 99p zigzag hairbands, peel-off varnish, earring STICKERS, and now need top-name skincare and Monica Vinader bangles. A total loss for childhood💔

1) It's physician assistant, not physician's assistant. We aren't anyone's property. Actually, it's officially physician associate now, to help with confusion per below, but that hasn't been enacted in very many states yet. People confuse PAs and MAs far too often; you're not alone. 2) PAs don't give routine vaccinations. That is almost always a medical assistant's job. MA is a 1-2 year undergrad program; my wife is one. PA is a 2.5 year graduate program. Never have I ever followed a doc around to do injections they ordered. Since I can bill separately, I've always been expected to do my own exam and chart and bill for it, which a PA and a Doc can't do for the same patient on the same day in the same clinic. 3) You're always welcome to file a complaint, but consider that you might be disincentivizing honesty. Sounds like the vaccine administration was done in error, not with malice. Do you want to try and take away someone's livelihood over what they already explained to you and said was a mistake? 4) Using combo vaccines is an attempt to address the raw number of 'pokes' any individual kid gets. I understand there are co-administration concerns, but realize that those products were specifically designed to minimize pediatric injection pain. It's not like they're loading stuff up just for convenience or profit.

STORY TIME When we went in for my daughter's 2 month doctor appointment we discussed vaccines. I had made my own schedule for what I thought was best for my daughter, which included delaying some vaccines and skipping some of the later doses. The schedule I made gives her great coverage against potentially severe outcomes of illnesses while also limiting potentially severe outcomes from overloading her with vaccines. Her doctor agreed with my plan and entered all of the vaccines we wanted and the dates we wanted them, into her chart so nothing would be missed or accidentally given. The doctor left and said the physician assistant would be back to give my daughter the vaccine we wanted for her 2 month visit. We only wanted DTaP at this appointment. The physician's assistant came in and stated that she was giving my daughter the DTaP vaccine. We left and baby girl handled the vaccine well. Fast forward a month later and I had received a call saying our next vaccine appointment was too soon. I messaged the physician assistant letting her know about the call, sent her the vaccine plan we had discussed with the doctor, and asked if we needed to push dates out. The physician's assistant said she would look into it. Later that day she messaged me back saying we were ok to come in as scheduled. She then sent another message saying that instead of just the DTaP vaccine, she gave my daughter a combo shot including Polio and Hep B at her 2 month appointment, which her chart indicated she should not have had the first doses of those vaccines yet. My daughter's chart was marked with every vaccine she should get through 52 weeks old, which dose it was in the series, and the exact dates she should get them. We discussed the vaccine plan that day, before her vaccine. The physician's assistant told us the vaccine she was giving her and did not inform us or ask consent to give her the Hep B or Polio vaccine. I AM LIVID We were planning on doing the Hep B and Polio vaccines at a later date (months later), but giving an infant a vaccine without explicitly stating what the child is getting is careless. In the medical field you should be reviewing your patients chart before giving them anything, you should know exactly what your patient needs & what you are giving them, and you should be getting consent for every specific medication/treatment/procedure you are doing. So, regardless of how much I may be over reacting, I am filing a complaint with the state's medical licensing board because her actions were reckless

@NilsBabcock73 @AuntSuziQuilts @defense_of_fam I never said it wasnt. There is place for both mission and motherhood, its not one or the other. I think women have a more i herent desire for marriage and children tho and that will lead them strongly whatever they choose. Many people meet spouses on missions as well

@AuntSuziQuilts @kenzerface @defense_of_fam The focus on missions instead of marriage is actually contrary to the what we've been taught since Adam and Eve. The woman's place is to bring forth and raise up a righteous generation. The highest and holiest calling for women is wife and mother.

Last night, my 17 year old daughter looked at me and said, “I wish they taught us more about motherhood in Young Women. Isn’t that the most important thing we’ll ever do?” I can’t even express how much I love her. She is wise beyond her years and understands what many take a long time to learn.
