@FinanceLancelot Central bank policies combined with the government caused this. Easy money policy makes massive leverage cheap. Combine this with privatizing profits and socializing the losses, suppressing the CPI so wages don’t keep pace. Is basically the result of an unbacked fiat currency

At the height of the Gilded Age (1870-1900) the top 0.00001% of Americans owned 4% of national income. Today, in the "Golden Age" the top 0.0001% of Americans own 12% of national income and it's only getting worse.

@Concern70732755 No. Cut the CBC, foreign aid, the CIB and a 18% cut across the board to all departments. That’s about $90B.

It hasn't slowed down all afternoon. We're getting about 20 signatures an hour. Repeat that at 100s of locations every day for the next month. This is not a fringe movement. Alberta independence is the only path forward, everything else we've tried with Ottawa for the last 100+ years has failed.

As long as this product is offered to everyone, without coercion, extortion, subsidies or a state sanctioned monopoly / duopoly, and the product remains solvent, I’m ok with it. Traditional insurance is a risk-transfer model, where your premium is based on probability & severity of an event calculated by the insurer and the insurer then absorbs that risk. It remains solvent by risk-pooling. This model is a risk-sharing/cooperative model. It reduces the moral hazard of traditional insurance by rewarding good behaviour of the collective. But your premium is now more tied to the collective vs the individual. You don’t know what your costs will be upfront because the refunds size is dependent on the collectives behavior. The refund is basically an inverse deductible, where you are paying it upfront, then it’s later returned (but of an unknown amount dependent on the collectives claims)

@1loupsolitaire @AlbertaLeonidas @GhostOf_J Inflation is because of an over supply of currency. It has nothing to do with usury. That being said, as long as this product is offered to everyone, without coercion, extortion, subsidies or a state sanctioned monopoly / duopoly, and the product remains solvent, I’m ok with it.

@AlbertaLeonidas @GhostOf_J Inflation exists BECAUSE of usury. Class movement is not affected. Loans exist in Islamic finance. I am not Muslim but I've encountered those products. They're not too different from traditional finance.

This man is by far and away the very best asset the Alberta Independence movement has. He’s very well spoken, intelligent and knowledgeable about the pertinent issues. We are Blessed to have such a man amidst our ranks. Thank you & God Bless you Keith Wilson

177,000 signatures have now been reached and Alberta’s independence referendum is moving toward the October 19 vote. This video explains why signature collection must continue, what Bill 23 actually means, and why this moment matters for Alberta’s future. youtu.be/4LU0lUTVYB4

@walter_kev96767 @BTCBreadMan Average canadian does 16500 km annually. At 25 mpg (9.4 L/100km) the annual cost from $1.00/L to $1.75/L is $1164.31. If you’re broke on a $1164 expense you can’t afford a tesla of $67000 (cheapest model 3 RWD after tax), for a 24.7 year ROI assuming you pay $0.00 for hydro.

@BTCBreadMan @WMckort Of they can't afford 4 dollar gas they can't afford a Tesla. They probably can't afford a house with a garage for a home charger, and if you're in an outer ring suburb like me there aren't any or many charging stations around.

Gasoline is considerably cheaper per gallon today than it was 18 years ago, adjusting for inflation. So why does everybody piss and moan about it like it’s expensive?

They are cultish, divisive bullshit that try to create a narrative that contemporary citizens have stolen land and that they owe others compensation for it based on race.

Former Capitol Hill Police Officer / current CIA employee Kerkhoff was a person of interest & failed a lie detector test, before the famous Blaze article was published. Looks like defamation suits FBI DD Bongino told me he would personally finance against reporters are a bust.
