@YoBenBen I have tried to avoid criticizing Gyokeres to avoid the mob jumping on him. I have also said, his ball striking is one of the best in Europe. However, his overall technical ability as a striker is really poor:

Dilemma of #Arsenal vs Newcastle: Newcastle are good with aerial balls,we need striker that will win aerial duels/control aerial balls under pressure.
Gyokeres poor in aerial balls control but good finisher while Havertz better in aerial control but poor finisher.

@Arsenalman2011 You’d like to think that on another day, someone in the team puts away another 1 or 2 of those chances we created. Gyokeres is one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen. If I see Martinelli, Ben White, or MLS in the lineup, I just lose any confidence immediately unfortunately

@YoBenBen Logical point. Havertz horrendous finisher but better in terms of ball control under pressure. I fear giant/attritional defenders of Newcastle would make Gyokeres completely sterile.
