Trying to find the perfect work/life balance

You can program all sorts of things into it. You can define hotkeys, there are extensions for various apps. You can modify the rotary knobs and you have a small touchscreen. It really depends on what you want to do. Alternatively, I actually use LaunchBar. Some swear by Alfred. And you should also take a look at BetterTouchTool. I actually use that a lot as well.

So many people are afraid to change their mind. Or just really don’t want to. But doesn’t that mean you’re doomed to never learn, never grow, never improve? Changing your mind is a sign of a thinking person.

@dannypostma Interesting. This morning I told my wife that I wish to have a "boring" weekend. I wish to be bored again. Every weekend there is something like repairing stuff, bringing the kids to their soccer games etc. I just wish to sit and be bored. :)

A vector store is a database that stores the data alongside a calculated, multi-dimensional vector. This vector is calculated based on the content you want to store. If e.g. "car" is stored to the store, the store would return the entry when you ask the store for "car". But it also returns the same entry when you ask the store for e.g. "bicycle", "tire", "steering wheel". That's because the vectors don't represent the words themselves, but the "meaning" of them. This description is just a rough explanation of a vector store. There are good explainer videos on youtube etc.

@dannypostma Oh no, @arvidkahl has an SOP to ensure everything is set up properly for video recording. Nothing's worse than realizing half an hour in that the recording isn't running or the microphone isn't working. 😱

@anthonydo I'm just getting started and picking up my no's from Starbucks etc. 🙂 It's a big step for me and a muscle I have to train.

It’s October last quarter of the year. A lot of life turbulence has happened in the first 3 quarters that completely derailed my work routine. Doing something different. Starting the day with a book instead of code.
