My husband and I met online. I am a tall woman so after a few times of meeting someone for a date who I was taller than, I made it policy to ask so that we might avoid the awkwardness. When we were talking I asked him how tall he was making it clear that I was tall. This man would not tell me. He just told me don’t worry. I got you. This is how he is, just tons of confidence, even when unwarranted 😂 To me he made it sound like he was so tall I had so much clearance so of course I wore heeled boots, I mean why not right?? Well dear reader we met and we were the same height, it was the funniest thing I have ever experienced, we both died laughing He thought I was exaggerating over how tall I was and I thought he was making it clear he was so tall there was no way a woman would be that height. It worked out cause now we are married and all our kids are very tall thanks to me.

@AnyaMuss @UsingLyft I think it boils down to being attracted to men of another race. Most people prefer their own race in terms of dating, so as an outsider, your pool will naturally be smaller. If you don’t accept that, you end up resenting women of desired race for their biological advantage.

Consciousness has been my main interest, (I kid you not) since age 5. I even remember the exact time and place where I started wondering about it. Of course, as a 5 year old girl, who was very “hard to reach” and constantly (apparently) distracted, my interest was politely dismissed and I was bamboozled with disdain every time I brought it up. I’m glad, that 50 years later the phenomenon of consciousness is finally getting some teeth in science.

@creation247 Lex Friedman is a mystery to me, too. He is monotone but sometimes has good guests who I like so I tune in for portions I am interested in. Theo is a kindhearted, funny guy who doesn’t pretend to be perfect. He is relatable but his guests are a hit or miss for me.

I'm not covering it yet, but following closely. Not covering because: 1. It's still developing and 2. I believe several scientists are in hiding. I don't want to do or say anything to put them in additional danger. I've done plenty of episodes on missing/dead scientists. And spoken publicly about this "phenomenon". I'll make sure that these people are not forgotten; as best I can.
