Tristan Jarry flailing and failing again in Edmonton Oilers net. First Edmonton fails to show up early and loses all the little races to the puck. And then Jarry lets in a real stinker. It’s 3-0 in Dallas after one. Oilers have only won three in a row once all year.

Dach is 6’4”, 220lbs and is 70% percentile in skating speed 🤯 Also hits everything in sight, Hometown boy. With that mix of size and speed, He’s going to be a fan favourite in no time

Things I find interesting is how much people overvalue late first round NHL draft picks. I think when people see 1st rounder some equate it to MacKinnon, McDavid and Makar type players. From 2011-2020 players drafted 25th-32nd and a total of 36.6% played 250+ NHL games. Can't go later because very few in that slot have been in league long enough to know what they will be. You can get good players in those spots, no doubt, even elite like Pastrnak, but they are rare.

@jimmathesonnhl I wish people would stop bugging players who earned a no trade clause to waive it. I am glad he is staying, the Oilers agreed to it and should honour it.

TRADE 🔄 The #Oilers have acquired forwards Jason Dickinson & Colton Dach from the Blackhawks in exchange for forward Andrew Mangiapane & a conditional 2027 first-round draft pick. Chicago will retain 50% of Dickinson's $4.25 million salary.
