@supportivadachi @sibaburck @lachancenaomi27 You don’t speak for the disability community.

@lachancenaomi27 @sibaburck I am neurodivergent and AI is necessary for my day to day life to the point that things crash without it, and I am not alone. AI is an assistive technology, and a medical support system, line pets. I am vegan too, btw. And now killing animals is not necessary for nutrients.

I’ve been a vegetarian since I was 7 and I think meat has an important cultural and nutritional role. Unlike ai, which is completely avoidable

@sibaburck @YaniJPG @lachancenaomi27 You're ignoring actual disabled people for your imaginary fantasies to justify the use of a fascist, polluting and objectively harmful ""tool"". Get your fake ass activism out of here.

@Nickhasdoubts @Jey6an @39arii Look up farm sanctuaries and cow cuddling. Yeah some will always exist but no where near the amount we have now.

@baselessassert @Jey6an @39arii But you will have to kill them. Why keep them around? They eat too much, they shit too much, they're incapable of caring for themselves. Cows shouldn't exist and cannot survive. If we aren't eating them, we need to kill them. What do you want to keep them for? Pets?

@sibaburck I’m a lifelong vegetarian so you should trust me when I say slaughterhouses are great for animals and meat is super important for nutrition.

@labotimy @shane99691 There’s no scientific consensus on the word being. It’s not a scientific term. You’re thinking of organism. Notice how you failed on substance so you latched onto a semantics debate. Peace to you.

@labotimy @shane99691 Being is not a scientific term. You are defining it as a fertilized egg. I define it as a conscience entity. This is why an oyster is not a being. We’ve now gotten into a semantic argument. Are you interested in continuing the argument on substance?

@labotimy @shane99691 This is philosophy and ethics. A sperm is alive an egg is alive. They touch and they are live. They become a being once they become conscious. Before that they are not a being. They are a potential being.

@labotimy @shane99691 An animal fetus is not a being yet so I don’t care what you do to them.

@baselessassert @shane99691 Would it be fine to do the same to the animals you wish to protect, maybe the cow that ended up being the steak in that picture? Morally acceptable to abort that cow, but not kill it for food? This is a very strange and contradictory position.

@Nickhasdoubts @Jey6an @39arii I do t want to genocide cows anymore than we genocide horses. I’d like to keep a few around. But this is a stupid amount of cows to have.

@baselessassert @shane99691 Ahhhh I see. So early into the pregnancy, you would be fine with aborting the fetus, because it isn't yet sentient in your eyes? Is that correct?

@Nickhasdoubts @Jey6an @39arii We may have to kill many since their lives are missable just like we do with stray dogs in cities. What does this have to do with buying meat from farmers?

@Jey6an @39arii @baselessassert There are like 100 BILLION chickens. There's nearly 2 billion cows. 1.3 billion sheep. 1 billion pigs. Like, I'm not talking about making more. I'm asking you: If we stop killing them, what do we do with that avalanche of hungry animals we will not be killing and need feeding?

@Jey6an @39arii @baselessassert And what about the ones that exist right now? The chickens that we've hatched over the last year, ready to be slaughtered, they would require more food than exists in the world just to stay alive for one year. Like, I'm talking about the animals we're ALREADY CREATED.

@baselessassert @Jey6an @39arii Basically, in the first six months the chickens ALONE have eaten all the grain in the world leaving nothing for us.

@Jey6an @Nickhasdoubts @39arii This is a good graphic to show these people when you want to show them how the animals we eat are the most overpopulated due to breeding and meat demand
