Die Einrichtung einer eigenständigen Fakultät für islamische Theologie an einer staatlichen Universität ist ein historischer Schritt und ein starkes Signal. Muslimisches Leben gehört zu Deutschland und bekommt zunehmend auch die institutionellen Strukturen, die es dafür braucht.

Striking Tehran’s Grand Bazaar, Israel warning people to avoid trains and stations, Trump threatening whole power grids, desalination plants, the nation’s bridges… Is this war still against the Iranian regime or now against a whole people?

It is painful to see what Israelis are doing to the Palestinians -soldiers, settlers, security, police, very tangibly. This is not a war. It is to torture a people: physically and psychologically. And it is part of their erasure.

One month after starting the war in Iran, this is the statement of the President of the United States on Easter Sunday. These are the ravings of a dangerous and mentally unbalanced individual. Congress has got to act NOW. End this war.
