@trabkouszek @1mfslw @IHateYourJorts in most suburbs i live in it would be a minimum of 1-2hr bike ride to get Anywhere At All, and a lot of places just aren’t accessible without a car bc of heavy reliance on highways. overall you can’t get a job or go to the grocery store or do almost anything w/o a car.

@sweetposting i feel like twitter isn’t bad for memory but i feel like it makes u a more irritable and judgemental person and tends to skew your perception of the world more negative the more u partake bc of twitter algorithm tending to favor/boost controversial/cruel/upsetting content etc

look im not saying scrolling on twitter is GOOD, but theres actual studies that measure cognitive effects of different platforms, and these studies found that stuff like youtube and twitter have a negligible effect while stuff like tiktok and reels noticeably make you dumber.
