The real unlock here is separating execution from settlement.
Base handles auction state transitions, bid logic, and programmable flows.
Stellar handles asset issuance, ownership records, and final settlement.
Instead of overloading one chain, you compose both:
deterministic execution + reliable settlement.
That’s how on-chain auctions move from experiments to real infrastructure.

While the token is issued on Stellar at listing, it doesn’t finalize the transaction on its own. The winning bid is still held in escrow, and the buyer only releases funds after confirming the physical item matches the listing.
If there’s a mismatch, the buyer can raise a dispute within the window, which pauses settlement and allows resolution before anything is finalized.
So the token tracks ownership, but the actual outcome is still enforced by escrow and real-world verification.

@cipherWest @astaversehq @StellarOrg automated tokenization beats manual every time. curious how you handle disputes when physical item doesn't match token

Just hit a major milestone building @astaversehq
Every physical item listed on our decentralized auction platform now automatically gets tokenized on @StellarOrg the moment it goes live.
No manual steps. No extra clicks. A seller lists a physical item, our backend detects it on Base and instantly issues a unique RWA token on Stellar with a verifiable on-chain record.
When the auction ends, the winner receives the ownership token directly in their Stellar wallet, permanently proving they own the asset.
Every future resale transfers the token again, building an on-chain provenance chain that lives forever on Stellar.
This is Base handling the auction. Stellar handling ownership.
Two chains. One seamless experience.
AstaVerse, built for real commerce💙
Public Testnet soon 🚧

The real problem was never “put auctions on-chain”
It’s:
How do you handle uncertainty when value isn’t obvious?
Private files. Physical goods. Real-world delivery.
That’s where most “decentralized” platforms quietly fall back to trust.
We’re rebuilding that layer from scratch with AstaVerse.

Astaverse is back. After some bumps with our previous account, we’re live, battle-tested, and ready to scale. Momentum isn’t just coming, it’s already here. The 10 day private testnet is complete, but the journey is just beginning. The next phase of growth, scaling, and exciting new features are coming. Stay tuned, the next chapter of Astaverse is about to unfold. See live testnet transactions: sepolia.basescan.org/txs?a=0xb805c6…

Real infrastructure isn’t built in isolation.
Our private testnet surfaced important edge cases through real user activity, and each piece of feedback helped us refine how auctions settle and interact on-chain.
Every iteration brings AstaVerse closer to the transparent and verifiable auction system we’re building.
