It's literal propaganda. First the government needed your ID and/or passport to "protect the children" from seeing bad things on the internet (they don't give a fuck about the kids). Now they want your ID to stop people from cheating in video games. It's all lies.

im not gonna lie, before cyber I would make fortnite YouTube videos and work a part-time position in the library while attending community college. ironically I hated reading and also had no direction in life, tumultuous to say the least but there was some comfort in it and tbh, if it weren't for the 15 hour "ethical hacking" video from TCM (which is funny, retrospectively) I don't know where I would of ended up. This is a bit cliche, but I really was never one to really study, read, or acknowledge how much someone's able to evolve. I especially didn't expect to ultimately be in a field that required me to reinvent myself but we're here today. glad I was able to find great friends and have family that don't bully me for staying in my room all day (sometimes). i don't think I or many of us slow down and just think, "I really changed the direction of my life huh"......whatever....was just a bit pensive I guess LOL
