@BrianStewartOH Unbelievable! Your party is criticizing judges left and right for valid legal decisions they make in opposition to the Trump doctrine. You are correct, the remedy is appeal, not mob mentality toward a decision by the judge that threatens them personally. What is wrong with you?

Warring with the judge is just an exercise in self-immolation. It’s what bad lawyers do to make themselves feel better - rather than doing what’s best for the client. Your remedy is appeal. You get to create a record & “speak through the docket” too. But being anything less than respectful in court is idiocy.

Tips for young lawyers: If you go to war with the judge, your client will LOSE. There are very, very rare times to get adversarial with the judge, and that rare moment will be in a case where your client will already lose & the only hope is appeal. Even then, you NEVER lose composure like this lady. Never. Ever. If you can’t control your emotions in a courtroom, then court practice is not for you. Finally, if you ever get removed from court by bailiffs, you have crippled your ability to represent any client in that jurisdiction. Judges talk. Lawyers talk. Forget your practice. Think about your clients. Anyone who engages you is already at a disadvantage. So to this lady pretending to be a man… I’d suggest you rethink your career. Respectfully submitted, Sock

I co-sponsored HB249 to update Ohio’s indecent exposure laws. Naked men shouldn’t be able to engage in obscene performances in front of children. As I said in my floor remarks, the radical Left keeps pushing the boundaries, but enough is enough.
