@DrNeilStone I lived in Queens (Brooklyn native) -- so few know how awful it was for all of you. I was lucky, but I never will forget. And thank you and everyone who took care of so many.

Working in a hospital 2020 we were seeing waves of people dying of Covid. It was terrifying. When the vaccines came out we were fighting to get to it The sense of relief getting the first dose was enormous. I'll never forget that time,even if you all have.

As a fan since 1969, I cannot love this enough.

Manager, GM? Our next candidate could possibly interview for either job. Carlos Beltrán Carlos Beltran played MLB from 1998 to 2017 including 7 years as Center Fielder for the New York Mets. Beltran ended his career with the Houston Astros where he was infamously part of the cheating scandal in 2017 and was the only player named in the investigation. After retiring in 2017 Beltran immediately interviewed for the Yankees managerial opening that went to Aaron Boone. The Yankees instead hired Beltran to be special advisor to GM Brian Cashman. In 2019 the Mets hired Beltran to manage the team but due to the MLB investigation into the Astros and his involvement in the scandal the Mets and Beltran mutually agreed to part ways. Prior to the start of the 2023 season the Mets brought Beltran back as a member of the front office. Beltran is known throughout the league as a brilliant baseball mind who loves to mentor younger players. Beltran particularly has been helpful in helping younger players understand the analytics of the game. Beltran is bilingual which as I’ve stated before I think is a very valuable trait to have as a managerial candidate. Even with the cheating scandal Beltran is highly thought of in the game especially by Latino players. Some are unwillingly to give him a second chance because of the cheating but personally I think it would be unwise to overlook him in the manager search and believe at the very least he should have a prominent role in the front office. #LGM #Mets
