I welcome the hate for this, but the whole "Ketanji Brown Jackson is stupid" discourse is itself stupid and also racist. There's literally no evidence from her opinions or questions that she's stupid. It's just people who themselves are ignorant about the law. Being in a one person dissent happens sometimes (see Alito in the WBC case). Or if you want some famous heroic examples, Justice Harlan in Plessy. Same was true for Thomas, who has faced this "DEI hire" stuff for 35 year. He has a judicial philsophy that I deeply disagree with, but he's brilliantly smart.

No, it's not racist, even if it's wrong. No one thinks she's dumb because of her race, you jump to that assumption because YOU have those beliefs and are projecting. The reality is that she has repeatedly made incredibly stupid comments in public, during oral arguments, and in her opinions. If she wasn't black, there would be no one anywhere disputing her stupidity, it is only baseless accusations of racism that blind people to that obvious fact.
