Solving the "Dirty Data" Bottleneck and Scaling Enterprise AI Most enterprises sit on a goldmine of proprietary data—specifically massive purchase datasets, supply chain logs, and legacy archives. However, an "Invisible Wall" prevents this data from being used in AI: Data Inconsistency. Traditional automation is deterministic; it relies on rigid code. If a human enters a phone number in an address field or a vendor shifts a spreadsheet column, the entire ingestion pipeline breaks. - The "Twitch" Factor: Minor human errors or vendor formatting shifts create a massive, expensive bottleneck. - The Scale Paradox: Companies find that AI works for the first thousand rows but fails at 20 million because it cannot "ingest" the entire database at once without hitting context limits or economic failure. Thank you @Ed_Miliband, your red tape and grid bureaucracy have actually done something right. You have made it easier, faster and make more business sense to mine Bitcoin rather than connect to the grid. A Yorkshire gas field that could supply over 10% of Britain’s annual demand is being positioned for early Bitcoin mining rather than immediate supply to the national grid. Reabold Resources plans a small on site gas fired power station using private gas to mine Bitcoin, generate early revenue and help fund further development of the field. Connecting to the grid is slow, costly and tied up in years of approvals, infrastructure build out and negotiations. Using the gas on site allows immediate monetisation from existing wells and creates early cash flow without waiting for the wider system to catch up. When the fastest and most viable route for a domestic energy resource is private on site use rather than supplying the grid, it becomes clear that Bitcoin isn’t the problem. This neatly exposes how misaligned UK energy policy, infrastructure and incentives have become. It’s amazing what businesses can do to stay profitable, even when the government tries to make it almost impossible. Full article: telegraph.co.uk/gift/f18a6bf32…

What do you say if someone says "But Bitcoin mining blockrewards won't be profitable soon and fees are not enough to sustain mining?" Here's how I just responded I completely get why you'd be concerned that fees are not enough to provide ancillary mining revenue as halvings but into block rewards. And you're right, this was a big concern a few years ago. The reason it is no longer an issue for mining companies is because they have found a myriad of ancillary revenue sources including grid stabiliization (demand response, FCAS, 4CP, blackstart in particular), heat recycling, carbon credits, RECs. I was talking to a mining company 3 days ago that's now regularly earning 2/3 of their income through proactive grid stabilization. This is why I have no concerns about the long-term economic viability of mining.

A clip went viral this week of a professor declaring that Bitcoin is a CIA surveillance tool and demanded to know "where are the servers?" We’re 17 years in and the basic facts of what Bitcoin actually is still get lost. Which is one of the reasons why I found the @findingsatoshi_ documentary worth watching. It's not what I initially expected. It's less about putting a name on Satoshi and more about tracing where Bitcoin came from: the ideas, the people, the years of cryptographic work that made it possible. For the record, I don't think we need to unmask Satoshi. There's something beautiful about a creator who walked away and let the protocol speak for itself. And this also isn't like the @nytimes piece that recently dropped falsely naming @adam3us…that was based on circumstantial writing analysis, no cryptographic proof, plus Back has denied these claims for years. NYT got it wrong. What really got me were the moments with @franfinney. Hearing her talk about Hal - who he was, what he believed, how he helped change the world - hit me hard. Their love was an inspiration. Behind all the code and the debates and the price charts, there are real people who poured their hearts into building something that could set the rest of us free. Fran's love for Hal comes through in every word she shares, and her strength in carrying his legacy forward move me more than I can put into words. The film also puts to rest the lazy narrative that Bitcoin is some CIA or NSA creation. It's not. Bitcoin came from cypherpunks who spent decades fighting for privacy, sovereignty, and individual freedom. That's a story worth knowing, and one worth holding onto. Appearances in the film include @saylor, Adam Back, @lopp and many more. The film is launching soon, and pre-sale access is available exclusively at findingsatoshi.com/natalie - I was able to extend my followers a 20% discount with code NATALIE.

When Jack Dorsey chose Bitcoin/lightning as the default settlement layer for 4.1 Million merchants, he didn't just speed things up and reduce their fees. He replaced a mostly fossil-fuel powered banking/visa/mastercard network with one backed mostly with sustainable energy

Bitcoin mining is NOT boiling oceans and killing baby seals. Oil companies already burn enough gas every day to power bitcoin several times over. Here’s how bitcoin helps 👇 1️⃣We’re not stopping oil anytime soon. Even if all cars go electric, we still need it for plastics, asphalt, medicine and more. 2️⃣Gas is a byproduct. Most of the time it’s not worth selling so it gets released into the air or burned. Wasteful and bad for the environment. 3️⃣Bitcoin miners fix this. Burn the gas in a controlled system, reduce emissions, generate electricity, mine bitcoin and turn waste into value. That value can go back into better filtration, planting trees and there’s still value left! No brainer. But we’re early and more needs to be done. Peter, you rock. Godspeed 🔥

House Of The People
House Of The People@HoTPOfficial·
Thousands of new signups today. To everyone new here: You can think of House of The People as a third chamber. It's a platform for people all across the country to have a direct input on the legislation that governs us. The core feature is that you, the people, can vote on every bill going through Parliament yourself. We show you how your MP voted on the same thing, how every other MP voted, and how the rest of our userbase voted too. You can track bills through Parliament, read plain-English summaries of what they actually mean, discuss with voters across the country, rank your MPs on their record, and see the democratic gap in your constituency. For the first time, you can see where your voice aligns with Westminster and where it doesn't. The whole point is to help people see beyond party lines and vote on policy itself. And finally, we will never sell your data. We will never take party funding. This is built for the people, funded by the people.

Sure, bitcoin is dead. Over 731,000 BTC (~$51.9 billion) moved across 572,454 transactions in 144 blocks, settled in 24 hours. For context, Visa processes ~$41B/day.
