@blazerbanter What’s a two-bedroom with a view going for in NE Portland these days?

Houston’s offence is an absolute dumpster fire. Even with all of the extra shot attempts off of O boards.

@bballbreakdown Looking at the baseline angle replay, Ayton buried Jokic pretty deep into the charge circle, plus Jokic was putting the Kelly Olynyk arm clap on him. Tough to get his hand(s) up.

@ebehoops Had Jokic had his hands up, he probably corrals it or tips it up and the Nuggets have a chance to defend

Trying to figure out what the Nuggets could've done differently... maybe Murray could've been rushing in instead of sticking with Smart. But this is the perfect bounce as Reaves ties it improbably

@bballbreakdown Yes, you always run it to the “1 side” but Luka being able to occupy his guy as effectively with a big screen isn’t as likely.

@ebehoops Wouldn't Reaves just miss to the other side then? Just choose whichever side the 2nd defender isn't on

@C2_Cooper It was really smart. If it was a need a 3, LBJ would have curled off of Smart’s high screen (rather than crash straight down the lane) and filled behind AR for the pitch out.

Underrated component of this. Look at where Smart and LeBron were standing. Bunched spacing meant if the ricochet went there, none of the Nuggets would be there.

Ayton also screened down on his man to further create the hole. Wonder if this is a late-game scenario the Lakers have drilled before.

Come on Tim Legler, highlight how Ayton intentionally screens down on his “guy” on the 1 side of the lane to create the opportunity for AR to get his miss. One of two keys to the whole intentional miss.
