@seeteegee I see a lot of companies that provide school resources end up not really keeping up with things like Flash is out, and even if you go with chromebooks, you need one of the higher ends, or else the sites load super slow.

My kids' teachers are giving them web resources written in Flash to use, which don't work with the Linux laptops and soon won't work anywhere at all. I'm having to explain to them that Flash is unsupported and a security issue and they are telling me to get a chromebook. 🤦

@havocp I'm glad you are better now, my wife had similar symptoms years ago, but in her case she had to have her gallbladder removed.

But, it was "just" pain; there's no other damage as far as I know. So I looked like the most miserable person in the room for a while, and then a few hours later it went away as quickly as it arrived, and now I'm totally fine. No gradient of onset/recovery on either side.

Spent a few hours in the ER yesterday with the most minor possible kidney stone. Sudden onset of extreme pain; the pain itself causes other symptoms: hyperventilation, sweating, tingling extremities, low pulse, and puking. It was really scary at first, not knowing what it was.

Some very exciting news coming up on Monday, hint: it's related to #llamas 😀

@NateTheFinch it did, I'm a user since 2015 and at that point they didn't have the android app, so the paper key was how I added other laptops to my account

@fmpwizard Yeah I made a paper key now. But not sure if that existed in 2016.

I went to go log into @KeybaseIO for the first time in a long time, and my password works fine, but it seems like it requires a device now? And the last one I evidently logged in with is long gone. Do I really need to reset my account if I can login & have the same email address?

@NateTheFinch in that case, yes, very frustrating and you will have to reset the account, once you do, check about the paper key, it is basically a string of words that will let you "Add devices" if your current one gets lost, etc. I have keyabse on 3 laptops, one cell and a paper key

@fmpwizard I don't have a paper key as far as I can find. And I only ever connected one device. Either devices weren't handled the same when I signed up (way back at the very beginning) or they didn't make it clear you had to keep a chain of devices. It's very frustrating (clearly).

@NateTheFinch if you have "any" device running the keybase client, you should be able to "add" whatever new device you want, there is also the "paper key" that you may have created a while ago

Like, this seems kinda ridiculous. I can verify myself across all the same sites I had before and I can *log in to the damn web app* and I still have access to the same email address, but some device I didn't even know I needed to keep around is gone, so my account is toast?
