I consider most of what's passed off as great " wisdom" in Indian SM/ media, as mediocre, trite and offering just Blinding glimpses of the Obvious (BGOO). Including some chap from NY sharing a surname, some chap from Singapore, ex RBI guvs, etc. And that's why I remain in awe of what Amit Bhartia @rab9604 writes. A brilliant, wide lens thinker, and of course, practitioner par excellence in investing - he writes on how to look at India's valuations, using the Misery Index. This, Baccha and Buddha party, is Gold . Savor and Share linkedin.com/pulse/india-va…

If there are not enough white collar jobs, no one is going to pay for blue collar jobs. Less people will buy expensive flats, less people will spend unnecessarily on interiors etc. Economics doesn't work like that Mr.CEA

Listen to me. I've MADE you millions and now, I will SAVE you millions. You NEED to stay careful here. The next timing cycle is a week away. While retail is trying to PUSH the markets higher, we (smart money) are TRIMMING out and locking in some gains. What's happening? 1. Dollar $DXY - is breaking out, this is not a good sign for equities 2. High-yield bonds $HYG - they are a leading indicator, it's breaking down ahead of $SPY 3. S&P 500 $SPY - buying momentum is starting to fade 4. Volatility Index $VIX - the VIX is at support, not the best time to go big into equities What should you do? 1. I've been telling you to TRIM your top winners 2. No need to sell FULLY, just 20% - 30% so you can lock-in those gains 3. Keep it BALANCED for the next 5 months, high growth + defensive stocks Where's the opportunities? 1. Buy the DIP on AI - it will happen $MU, $ARM, etc. 2. Position some into consumer defense $WMT, $KO, $MCD, $HD, etc. 3. Get STRONG companies at lows - not CRAP companies at lows $ADBE, $NOW, etc. 4. Relative strength winners in space $RKLB, $PL, $BKSY, $LUNR, etc. 5. Healthcare and financials - they will go down, but down less that tech $V, $MA, $LLY I share all my buy and sell signals, follow my every move so you never lose any money.

It's actually not. Not always. In fact, in global macro, done well, markets are super easy. What you need to understand is that, outcomes are simply probabilities: oil can be 150, can be 100, 50. How do you size bets, how to exit when probabilities change, those are the critical aspects. Another example: I have been negative India last 2 years: but I have been buying into India as well. Holding many streams of thought, possibly conflicting ones, are what you will learn after 30 years+: never over-commit to any perspective.

My mom was a cashier at PNB. My dad worked as an Administrative Offer at United Indian Insurance, most of his career. I had a great childhood (not necessarily a "rich" childhood). My parents taught me to read, think, analyze things critically. My mom always said: that education never goes to waste. So I studied hard & worked hard. Tried to ace every exam that I took. I was not handed "wealth" in terms of money. I was handed wealth in terms of knowledge. So I used it. Right from acing exams, getting into top programs, working with top consulting firms, scaling social media etc. All done on merit. There were numerous opportunities that I missed due to lack of money. So I understand the importance of money. Therefore, I keep learning money management skills. And, keep teaching the same to my community. Was I lucky? Yes. I really wish that all of us become luckier each day. To get luckier, however: you need to evolve. 1) Learning about US stock investing 2) Global investing 3) Options etc 4) International Real Estate 5) Indian stocks All are tools to manifest your luck. I simply encourage people to keep the surface area of their luck big. Final point: what I teach is backed by results, not just theory. Last 1 year performance:- Anyone could have built this portfolio with me (including Indian residents).

There's a shocking fact about AI that nobody tells you: You can catch up to the public AI research frontier in just 2 weeks. Yes, really. I've built a $150M annual revenue startup over the last 8 years and If I were to start a company today, I’d drop everything and go all-in on AI. But like many busy software builders, I felt lost—overwhelmed by the noisy, crowded and fast-moving modern AI landscape. And I wasn’t alone. So I spent my entire holiday diving deep into AI research—reading 30+ papers, watching hours of lectures, analyzing trends, and catching up to the research frontier. ✨ Here’s what I learned: - You don’t need months (or years) to catch up. - You don’t need a PhD or decades of ML experience. - You need fewer than 20 papers and 2 weeks to understand the major breakthroughs shaping AI today. It's because the technology is extremely nascent and most techniques that came before are no longer relevant: - ChatGPT is barely 2 years old and Transformers are only 7 years old. - Most game-changing discoveries happened within the last 4 years, driven by a few breakthrough ideas, scaling laws, and efficient matrix multiplication. The biggest secret? Many groundbreaking AI papers with thousands of citations are surprisingly simple and applied, like adding "let's think step by step" to the prompt, or simply asking the LLM over and over again to improve its answer (Self-Refine). I realized there are tons of founders and builders in the same boat—wanting to dive deeper into AI but unsure where to start. I've created an essential AI Guide that helped me catch up, in just 2 weeks, to the frontier of public AI research to figure out where the next opportunities and gaps were: - Curated list of only the most important papers - Simple explanations of key concepts - Clear pathway to understanding the frontier of modern AI It’s perfect for: - Founders expanding into AI - Builders wanting to innovate at the frontier of AI - Investors looking to separate the signal from the noise 👇 Want the full guide? - Like and Share this post - Comment "AI Guide" - I'll send you the complete guide (ps, I’m also teaming up with @VishalVasishth, co-founder of @obviousvc with @ev (focused on large-scale societal impact companies like Twitter, Medium, Beyond Meat), to host a small meetup to discuss what's working and needs to be solved in the AI stack in SF. Message me if you're interested)
