Today, I join all Americans in mourning those whose lives have been stolen in Uvalde. This tragedy is as horrifying as it is heartbreaking. My deepest condolences are with the families & loved ones of those killed, with those who were injured, & with the entire state of Texas.

I just talked to an 8-year-old girl who hid in a cooler inside the grocery store. She was shopping with her dad and ran out the back of the store to safety. 8 years old. @WKBW

@htripp @kevinmax Of course. My points stand. #exvangelicals are ideologically homogenous, lean predominantly to the Left, veer from traditional Christian orthodoxy, are LGBTQ-affirming / identifying, etc.

@htripp @kevinmax The majority do not appear to move into orthodoxy, but away. Many of the "social justice oriented streams" are actually just the warmed over Social Gospel that minimizes Scripture, humanizes Christ, and breaks w/ traditional biblical sexual ethics.

@MikeDuranAuthor @kevinmax There are many who leave the evangelical stream for more early church contemplative practices or social justice oriented streams. This is a different way of approaching God that may run counter to your interpretation of scripture/your cultural lens of understanding christianity.

Keith & I have officially been vaccinated and, as of tomorrow, our vaccinations are in 14-day full effect! Keith had zero repercussions. I had a few waves of nausea here & there & felt like I could sleep for hours every afternoon for a few days but no big deal. So grateful!
