Jet fuel prices will still take months to normalize, Asian airline bosses say, even after Iran agreed to open the Strait of Hormuz as part of a two-week ceasefire deal with US President Donald Trump bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

BREAKING | Saudi Arabia’s major petrochemical hub in Jubail has been successfully struck. Jubail’s industrial complex produces roughly 6–8 percent of global petrochemical output.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump says Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. The question nobody has fully answered is what happens to the uranium that already exists. The IAEA says Iran has 972 lbs of uranium enriched to 60% purity. Weapons grade is 90%. That gap is a short, technical step. The material is buried in hardened facilities across a country the U.S. has been bombing for over a month. Option 1: send in up to 1,000 specially trained troops to secure and remove it by force. These would be America's most elite forces operating in an active war zone, handling nuclear material, deep inside Iran. Option 2: negotiate a surrender of the material as part of a peace deal. Much cleaner. But crucially, it requires Iran to agree. And Iran is currently saying it will fight until "complete victory." Here's the political math: If Trump sends ground troops and something goes wrong, the midterms become a referendum on dead Americans in Iran. But if he leaves the uranium in place and declares victory, the same problem remains. And now they’re more pissed than ever. There is no clean answer here. Just a choice between risks that all have consequences. Source: AP
