There were many nominations and it was really challenging for the jury to pick one amongst all shining bright graduates of iiser mohali. Nevertheless the jury chose the best and it thanks the iiser m community for this huge participation as always.

We thank the respected Director, IISER Mohali for presenting the 2023 Alumni Association Leadership and Outreach Award. @IiserMohali @amit_kulsh @komalbali_30

Her work has also been covered across several media platforms including in The Hindu @the_hindu .

She understands her social responsibility and has trained several local communities and imparted her knowledge of primates and fieldwork and distributed supplies like sanitary napkins to girls in the remote Nicobar islands.

The committee also appreciates her leadership roles, in particularly within Women in Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy (WIPMA) Forum and 'reviving' Manthan.

We recognize the interdisciplinary flavor which she maintained in her academic and outreach pursuits to be an excellent showcasing of the values IISER and we as Alumni hold.
