@junodemelo @lydiemilktea @CDCgov I think so- but luckily since the 2 doses of the 5-11 Pfizer series can be 3-8 weeks apart, even the strictest reading of this should allow kids turning 5 in the next 8 weeks should be allowed to get the higher 2 dose Pfizer series, 3-8 weeks apart.

So are they saying 4s can start with the 2-dose series from the get-go if they would turn 5 during the 3-dose series even if they WOULDN'T turn 5 during the 2-dose series? She references "the series" in that 1st graf, but it's unclear which one that is!

Also on this call: @CDCgov's Elisha Hall clarified some 4 year olds *will* be able to start on @pfizer-@BioNTech_Group's primary series for 5-11 year olds "yes, they can start it at age 4, provided that they would age to 5 before completing the series" twitter.com/CDCgov/status/…

At webinar today, @CDCgov 's Kevin Chatham-Stephens said that new feature coming to Vaccines.gov "potentially later this week, that will enable the minimum age that can be vaccinated at a location in months and years to be displayed" emergency.cdc.gov/coca/calls/202…

Working to alert my pediatrician to this, getting significant pushback. Remind me why parents are having to share CDC guidance with medical professionals?

Anyone have luck (and if so where?) getting their almost 5 year old the 2 dose Pfizer series for 5 and up? CDC clearly states that is an option for kids almost 5, of the baby/toddler 3 dose Pfizer, but it seems logistically tricky. @ImmunizeUnder5s @MamaWeasleyy
