every registered voter in dc automatically gets a mail ballot. the ballot is tied to the voter, not the address. there is a unique barcode assigned to each voter to ensure that in the very rare case of two ballots being returned, only one is counted. yall are so annoying

My coworker who lives in DC received five ballots in the mail. Only one was addressed to him — and he didn’t request it.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ They also have a world class performing arts center, a student run restaurant open to the public, as well as many other programs to help those not on a college track get real world work experience. Kyler Murray graduated from here.

This is Allen High School in Allen, Texas, just 25 miles outside of Dallas.
Over 1,772 students were in the graduating class. 18,000 people were in attendance inside their football stadium. The graduation lasted almost 4 hours. 🥵
The enrollment at Allen HS is well over 5k students. 😳
Allen, Texas only has one high school. The school is huge. If you were passing it you would think it was a University.
Many of the surrounding cities have one or two or more high schools, Allen has remained at one. They are a powerhouse in athletics, especially football.
Their graduating class had more people than my entire high school had. 🤯
Have you ever seen a graduating class that big? Have you ever seen a high school football stadium that big? Anyone staying for 4 hours?

Very glad that the Senate unanimously passed @MarkWarner and my bill named in honor of our friend Gerry Connolly. The legislation, which Gerry introduced two days before he died, will improve our understanding of esophageal cancer. Look forward to the President signing it soon!

Senate unanimously passed legislation to encourage research into esophageal cancer preventative treatments & require the GAO to report to Congress on esophageal cancer-related health care spending for federal employees, following floor remarks by VA Senators Warner & Kaine. Bill is named after the late Virginia Democratic Rep. Gerry Connolly, who died from the disease last May. The Gerald E. Connolly Esophageal Cancer Awareness Act was passed by the House in June by voice vote and now heads to President Trump.

He’s right bc we tax income, not wealth.
Bezos takes out a tiny salary, pays the income tax, and lives off loans borrowed against his stocks, basically tax free. They all do this and now 935 billionaires hold more wealth than 170 million Americans.
It’s time to tax wealth.

Last week, Jen Kiggans cast the deciding vote to allow President Trump to continue his reckless war in Iran. Instead, she chose to give the President a blank check for a war that is raising gas and grocery prices for Virginians, and putting Hampton Roads sailors in harm's way. I made more everyday sandwich loaf bread. Just came out of the oven.

Jewish students absolutely deserve campuses free from antisemitism, harassment and intimidation.
But equating a student wearing a keffiyeh with a threat to Jewish safety is not a serious definition of antisemitism. It collapses the distinction between true bigotry and expressions of Palestinian identity.
