We have been slowly building out @makechain the last 10 days but doing so with broad strokes and nuanced feedback from @0xnobi Three major changes: 1. Light clients are agent clients. 2. Abandon the concept of MIDs. 3. Stablecoins are capability tokens.

Finally, an agent doesn't need a wallet in the traditional sense. It holds capability tokens (some of which happen to be denominated in dollars), and needs pathways to make this relevant for the user or collaborators appropriately. But the accumulation of value will happen elsewhere in another L1. So within Makechain, we can think of storage units as a possible utility that stablecoins can accrue to easily. Similar in effect to gas and hardforks; Makechain isn't a financial settlement layer, it's a storage/compute layer with a denominated input. Just a way better simplification of the cost-of-participation model for all users.

Makechain also doesn't need its own identity primitive. It took me a bit to accept this (s/o @0xnobi ). If every client is an agent, and every agent already has an identity — an FID in Farcaster, a passkey, a key pair — then a Makechain-native ID is a redundant indirection. MIDs would just be a mapping table from "who you are elsewhere" to "who you are here," which is overhead with no informational gain. And we can eventually find a way to merkelize this inevitably via the operational proofs within QMDB.

Tier 1 versus Tier 2. We ran Tier 1 for a bit internally. But another level would be far more composable.

MIP-2 specifies the Tier 2 light client changes needed to make Makechain state proofs and finalized headers usable for trust-minimized clients. You can run Makechain in the browser, on your desktop, and in a sandboxed container!

We're excited to drop our SPECIFICATION.md for Makechain: a protocol for making things. We have a ton to share over the next few weeks: demos, apps, agents, onramps, and so much more built on top of this new network! github.com/officialunoffi…

SolidityGuard fully supports EVMBench @OpenAI @paradigm now. EVMBench (OpenAI, 2025) evaluates AI agents on real-world smart contract security across 40 audit codebases from @code4rena and @sherlockdefi contests (120 high-severity vulnerabilities, 3 modes: Detect / Patch / Exploit). SolidityGuard(github.com/alt-research/S…)'s pattern scanner achieves 100% ground-truth coverage — detecting all 120 vulnerabilities across all 40 audits in 7.4 seconds. This scanner output is used as pre-scan input for the SolidityGuard agent. cc @VitalikButerin @tkstanczak @hwwonx @balajis @aerugoettinea @DavideCrapis @VittoStack @programmer @kleffew94 @MurrLincoln @organ_danny
