Type 1 diabetes is a serious condition, if not detected at a GP appointment, kills. It is not type 2 diabetes it is an autoimmune condition! It is rising, it does not care who you are, it does not care if it’s hereditary or not, it does not care if you’re healthy or unhealthy, it does not care about your ethnicity and it does not care about your age. I beg everyone on Facebook with uk citizenship, sign this petition. It is for testing where symptoms warrant it. In today’s episode of my crazy life, I was talking at a @@BT1DUK event in Belfast. A man took photos of one of my slides. His wife was in a photo from 1986 of me & my Gold Duke of Edinburgh group. She was diagnosed with #T1D 5 years ago 🥹 that was a reunion and a half 💙
