Older generations say “we all struggled in our 20s.” No, you didn’t. You didn’t pay $2,200 for rent and $7 for eggs. You didn’t graduate into $50K student debt and $0 job security. Gen Z isn’t dramatic. They’re drowning.

I stopped yelling at my kids for a week. ​Here’s what I noticed: ​we were late to school every single day ​they didn’t clean up a single thing ​they didn’t shower ​they didn’t do their homework ​they looked homeless ​ I tried gentle parenting. ​They responded like tiny union workers on strike. ​Turns out my “yelling” was really just the family notification system.

My husband and I paid are taxes today and let me say IT WAS A HARD PILL TO SWALLOW after all the fraud in our country. Taxes are the government’s way of stealing Americans blind.

My old school is assigning teachers a list of students in danger of failing. The teacher is then required to touch base with the parents and all of the teachers that student is failing for to try and correct the problem.

@AniseNot It’s true. I remember not putting my clothes away so they go wrinkled, so I threw them back in the hamper. Teach your kids to do laundry.

I feel like my family has an excessive amount of laundry. I can never ever get ahead. It is always just mountains of laundry. I do laundry every week yet there are always mountains of it I tend to wash all the clothes & fold/put them away within 1-2 days I have started paying attention. I did all of the laundry 7 days ago. Today I did all of the laundry again I have 6 pairs of clothes to put away. That makes sense My daughter has 12 My son has 15 somehow I don’t excessively change my children’s clothes & tbh when they’re home they are so often in the backyard in their underwear so HOW ARE THERE SO MANY CLOTHES IN THE LAUNDRY Dude has 8 pairs of shorts/pants but 12 (!!!!) tshirts + 5 days of work uniform (so that makes it 14 pairs of clothes, but 5 days of those non-work clothes he would only have worn for a few hours in the evening after taking off uniform & he generally doesn’t do anything too strenuous on weekday evenings so those clothes aren’t really dirty) MY FAMILY IS JUST THROWING CLEAN FUCKING CLOTHING INTO THE HAMPERS I AM GONNA LOSE MY MIND
