@quaddogchip @Tablesalt13 You guys should try winning an election and then you might have more credibility on that. But instead you'll just keep crying and cheering for our adversaries.

At this point, the USA needs to ban Canadian booze. 90% of Canadian booze is exported to the USA. Its crazy that we ban US booze, flaunt it and talk shit about it...... but the Americans are still allowing ours in.

@mrtinfoilsocket @Tablesalt13 Get what you're saying 100%. However, the grandstanding liberals & Ford are doing is pathetic. Carney has all his investments in US. Imagine what happens to Canada's industry if US actually decides to take Canadians booze off of their shelves. The politicians won't lose,we will!

@Ryan35562442 @Tablesalt13 There's a difference between noticing the decline (valid) & posting garbage nearly giddy about the very real damage Trump is doing to our economy (on top of very real damage we've done ourselves due to poor governance). See? One can have a nuanced opinion without being a traitor.

@mrtinfoilsocket @Tablesalt13 Noticing the decline is not the same as cheering for it. The government and media keep people believing that Trump is the problem, in reality our government is the problem.

@RMC19861987 @Tablesalt13 Wow you're very smart! I guess we should just give up, roll over and let them keep punching us in the face. Winning strategy for sure.

@here2waste_time @Tablesalt13 Canada. I didn't vote for him. The difference is I don't hate Liberals so much that I'm willing to cheer against my country like the grifters and traitors on this platform do.

@Ryan35562442 @Tablesalt13 Nope. We certainly have our problems. I'm not a Liberal. But that doesn't mean I'm cheering for failure like the grifters are.

@DanGordon310595 @Tablesalt13 Yep. Dude is literally cheering for the other side that started a trade war and then crying about "teams". What a worthless pile of shit.

@jbsteinberg @RahRahLara So your brilliant idea is to just keep getting punched in the face while doing... Nothing. Are you for real?

Rightly or wrongly, the US views its section 232 tariffs as largely orthogonal to CUSMA because they don't target Canada/Mexico specifically---they apply to all countries equally. Conversely, our retaliation affects the US only, and doesn't actually get us anything to boot. I know it seems crazy to us, but their view is that we're the ones violating CUSMA, not them. Suppose auto tariffs are here to stay. Are we really going to have a permanent embargo on US booze just because we're mad about that?

Reallocating dairy import quotas more fairly and ending the embargo on American alcohol are very much in the interest of the Canadian economy as a whole, particularly for Canadian consumers! These things shouldn't even be viewed as concessions at all!

🇨🇦's @DLeBlancNB on USMCA talks: "We’re not going to make a series of concessions ... that aren’t in the interest of the Canadian economy, just to get to a [negotiating] table…to then receive a whole second list of things that they’re going to want." wsj.com/world/americas…

@johnrich John, do you take any of these medicines on a daily basis? Are they good for prevention or only after you've been diagnosed? Can you imagine how many lives could have been changed? Even for all the covid deaths. 😡😡😡

The reports about Ivermectin, Fenbendazole and Mebendazole attacking cancer cells and taking people from Stage 4 to remission is incredible! How long has big pharma known this? How lucrative is chemo? How many millions have died?

@DougMighton @ItsDeanBlundell Let's just put it this way - American Dairy does indeed want higher quota. So pretending they don't is a bit dishonest from our side, and we don't need to be dishonest - we're already right. That's all I'm saying.

@DougMighton @ItsDeanBlundell To be very clear - I'm not at all saying we should cave on supply management. The US protects their dairy industry via massive subsidies. We both protect our dairy, just in different ways. Their claim about us screwing them is entirely BS.

@DougMighton @ItsDeanBlundell No, but the US dairy industry very badly wants to dump high quantities of their product into Canada. But the quotas stop them and it stops them from even coming close because it's not economical for them to do so.

Too many politicians in Canada either don't know or have forgotten that the Democrats in the U.S. are a trade protectionist party. It's not just the Republicans.
