Talking about final placements, I got a Student Council POR&had highest ratings. Built a MBA call predictor with 1.5 L+ users. Had AmEx SIP on CV so got 2 consult shortlists. 1. KPMG - Got rejected in HR Round(Round3) 2. PwC - No interview got scheduled Got into genman at the end

@pixieperceptron Nice plan indeed. An MBA combined with an Engineering degree is truly a strong combination. First, you become a skilled engineer, and then with an MBA, you gain the business and management knowledge needed to build and lead a solid company.

for the ones who’re asking why do i wish to get an MBA in spite of a tech profile: since sem 1, i was pretty firm about wanting to have a career in business/mgmt and engg was just a safe backup years ahead, i’m firm about it (and i do have quite many business/case comp wins too!)

@pixieperceptron depends which IIMs, 99%ile for fair chances esp if either of 10th or 12th is below 95% (ext hard if below 90 in either), 70 or 80+ in grad. then interviews are another ballgame, so prep early because most people end up converting like 2 of 5-6 calls
