@malphier It's so dogshit on linux to the point where I have to endure the shitty Frame gen image quality for some frames but I love the game.

I need to give props to the marketing team of Crimson Desert. They actually never really lied about the game and its features. Even the performance, which I was the most skeptical about, is actually fine. I swear, I was sure this game would run like absolute dog poop, but no. The optimization is actually fine. Could it be better? Sure, I could use some more frames, but it's fine. They told you what to expect from the game, and they delivered what they said they would. Which is even more baffling when you see so many people expecting things from the game that the devs never said it would have. And far worse, expecting things from the game that the devs actually told you it WOULD NOT have.

@ATR3lDES Part 1 is good beacuse it introduces characters, the world and the conflict in general but watching Part 2 right after it is crucial because it makes it way better and an actual 2 part story that will be "concluded" with the part 3

i like part 2 more but im side eyeing those that hate part 1

The current gaming culture confuses me. People get so excited when a game they weren't excited for doesn't have glowing reviews. I absolutely understand not being interested, or excited, in a game. But being happy when it underperformes doesn't jive with me.

@idonotexistelol I live for pulling out a sheet of paper and writing something down. I used to do that with builds in dragon age and divinity original sin when I needed to remember which spells to get and gear to buy.
