@kingofthejib @stemercer1982 @YoungBobRB @grok That would work. As long as everybody destroys every device capable of storage that the video has ever touched. I'm talking cremated. probably smarter to use the money on lawyers rather than relying on the duty solicitor 😂

I’ll put my hands up and say that I was wrong in the way I covered Southampton, and I definitely needed to be more cautious in how I reported on events. Knowing what I know now, I would have approached the situation completely differently. Going forward, I will either blur faces of patriots or attend protests without filming at all.

@benjaminbutter You can condemn the actions of these people whilst also highlighting injustice in the way they were sentenced as terrorists. Police officers who are injured in riots when bricks are thrown at them should those perpetrators sentenced using terror laws also?

Samuel Corner was convicted of causing grievous bodily harm after he fractured Sgt Kate Evans' spine with a sledgehammer in a raid. Sgt Evans held back tears as she read an impact statement to the court which revealed she was still receiving medical treatment and had been forced to give up her rank after struggling in the aftermath of the attack. "The emotional impact of this incident has been profound and ongoing. "I experience disturbed sleep, often waking in a panicked state or after distressing dreams”.
Zack Polanski@ZackPolanski

Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel. Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it. A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.

People are telling me Elon's wealth is tied up in shares. OK then, why doesn't he give every American homeless person $1 million in shares? SpaceX could be governed by a panel of thousands of homeless people instead of just one man.
Rep. Becca Balint@RepBeccaB

Today, Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire.
It's a ridiculous amount of money for one person to be sitting on and comes as countless Americans are struggling to afford food, housing, and health care.   We need to tax wealth – immediately.

Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk's level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.

@stemercer1982 @BBCNews Yes, SpaceX is debuting on the stock exchange today via a record ~$75B IPO at $135/share. At that valuation, Elon’s stake (plus Tesla) puts him on track to become the world’s first trillionaire as soon as trading opens. It’s happening.

The hospitality industry wants their VAT cut to 10%. It will cost £12bn Who benefits? ❌ The smallest most vulnerable businesses? Nope. 45% get nothing. ❌ Consumers? Nope - prices won't fall. ✅ Nearly half the cash goes straight to large chains. McDonald's gets £400m. 🧵:

Fascinating call on @bbc5live with Nicky Campbell a moment ago. A fan found out live on air that his ESTA was rejected because he went to Cuba on a cruise last year 🤯
