I've been thinking lately: Much what I see in man-made theology is really just people trying to make excuses for God as revealed in the Bible.
It’s like we’ve put Him on the dock, decided His words and ways need defending according to our sense of fairness, and then write His defense in the form of elaborate theological systems… instead of simply letting God speak for Himself in Scripture.
NEWSFLASH: God doesn't need a defense attorney.
