@jasonfried @dhh but, I get that it's really hard - because, then you turn into any other email service with a million rules.

@jasonfried @dhh biggest Ann. - (and it's really other companies being shady) - I would screen out a lot more, but many companies send everything from 1 address. So, I DO want the reciept for something I bought, but not the marketing emails. Would like the ability to have some sort of granularity

@JoannaStern @BenBajarin Crazy expensive, so I may jump ship still, but this is the best I've found.

@BenBajarin I tried SO hard with Superhuman. There was a ton I loved but some of it I just couldn't get behind and ended up back at Gmail. May try again.

Is there a great Mac email client? Like an actual great one where I won't find myself going back to Gmail web four days later.

I’m switching away from @heyhey. Their approach doesn’t work for me. Web apps remain inferior to native apps, and having an email service that doesn’t provide an API for AI agents is even more indefensible in 2026.

@amix3k What's getting easier about attachments in general?

We’re making it much easier to attach files in Todoist, and we’re adding AI to the experience as well. One example is Image Scan, which can analyze an image, such as handwritten notes or a whiteboard, and turn it into actionable tasks. It’s a bit like Ramble, but for images. We’ll have something similar for text, too! Leak time 😄

@dhh I know I may be in the minority, but given the interest so many have in AI, would love to see opt in features come to @heyhey @37signals

@SnazzyLabs It's shocking they haven't. Insta buy for my wife's car.

I wish Tesla would finally make a full-size SUV that was good. They would absolutely kill it if they did. The Model X is neither full-size nor any good.

Would love @heyhey to get AI search and MCP. Completely optional so people don't freak out.

I decided to try out the Hey web app on iPad instead of the actual iPad app. So far, I’m finding the web app superior in every way. Anyone else?

@culturedcode any word on being able to complete a repeating task early? You had stated you would add this but gave no timeline.

@jasonfried @MikeBotkin_ @t_blom @heyhey @dhh Love @heyhey , and I know many don’t want it, but I’d love AI to be a part of the story. Also, I still struggle what to do with companies that send emails from the same address for receipts/shipping AND marketing. You can’t screen them out. Bundling is prob the best solution.

@MikeBotkin_ @t_blom @heyhey @dhh The Screener in HEY means you'll ultimately get LESS email over time. Just the stuff you want from the people you care to hear from. Come check it out. hey.com.

I get so many emails every day that it's becoming unmanageable. If I reply "no thanks", the sender tries to convince me otherwise. If I don't reply, I get a "just bumping this up" email. Each email seems like it's (at least somewhat) custom written for me, so the spam filter doesn't catch it. And this is going to get worse and worse with AI. I've simply started to block emails that I don't want to deal with. What I really want is karma for email accounts. If I downvote the email, it should harm deliverability in future. Only emails with impeccable karma should land in my inbox.

@heyhey @37signals really hope something is in the works to fix the problem where so many companies use the same email address for everything now. Can’t screen them out because occasionally I will order something and want the shipment notification and receipts.

Perhaps it's just me but lately the AI/search button on Notion reminds me of @obsidian founder @kepano The resemblance of Stephen's display picture is uncanny to the icon Notion used. It's like it's looking at me disappointedly at my use of notion and I should be using obsid…
