Why is the @united #wifi always down these days? I fly 60+ flights a year. Probably 240hrs+ of ‘work’ time lost. That’s more than enough lost connectivity to switch airlines. Anyone having better consistency with @AmericanAir? They serve my main routes.

@mcuban This could open doors for official channels to become relevant again. People will choose their channels of trust. Can it save news? If they filter out the noise and return to being a vetted source, will People care? Are there new Dan Rathers to be created?

Within the next 3 years, there will be so much AI, in particular AI video, people won’t know if what they see or hear is real. Which will lead to an explosion of f2f engagement, events and jobs. Those that were in the office will be in the field. Call it the Milli Vanilli effect

@mcuban Hell yes. Redeem yourself @elonmusk and put your wealth into this idea. This is your opportunity for greatness. It’s not easy but you’d change the world for good if you championed a new party.

@tfurlong Ok. This bears the question…. Which restaurant chain or type of establishment? That wouldn’t happen at a high end place. But there’s A-Holes everywhere, I guess. I feel for servers, but also look at these events as inspiration for finding a career that ensures equity and value

As the dad of a restaurant server- even if you have a gift card, tip on the original total. My girl got a $10 tip tonight on a $200 check. Guy even complimented her great service.

One challenge for AI will always be information latency. People can and will be able to get access to, and process information not available to AI. They will need to be able to interpret output from competing models or even cooperating models To a salesperson: “The output of the architectural LLM from one architect we work with suggests one bathroom upstairs. The other architects we work with suggest 2 upstairs. Can you review their proposals, and decide which to present to the client. The client doesn’t have the time to review them all and they have chosen not to train a model to do it for them “ This happens sooner than you think.
DFW_GC@Ben_Hitson

@mcuban Did you think before you typed this? "if you can't use your brain to process and interpret information". What do you think AI does?

Well @westerndigital just lost a customer. Beware if you need replacement parts or warranty care. Been waiting months on a simple $300 hard drive warranty replacement, and they claim to have no sleds for a wildly popular and easily attainable GRAID unit.

@bwhalley @jsappington I won't take the 'most toxic people' quote personally, since we haven't yet met. But seems like a pretty vague label. Sorry you feel that way about us. Let me know if we can chat and change that perspective.

@couuor @jsappington How about scale of ID? 9B devices is more than any ESP, and more than most ID companies in ecom. Wunderkind powers nearly 20% of total email rev for Wolverine Worldwide ($2B+) over Bluecore. wunderkind.marketing/ww-20

@jsappington Wunderkind has lost all their edge A few years ago identity resolution could provide a lot of unique value But you can have a more performant stack now w cookie enrichment + better pop ups/etc

@philwinkle @jsappington @couuor What about scale? Not all IR is created equal. Wunderkind's 9B devices is a lot of devices to help you ID. Plus PrivacyID allows for seamless triggers across email and text for a well orchestrated customer journey.

Well @VFCorp has some work to do. I bet this leads to Vans 'diversifying' it's marketing to appeal to even less 'core culture' audiences. Let's hope they can keep that core brand feel: retaildive.com/news/sp-global…
