@matknot @ShadowofEzra No, that wasn’t the end of his speech. The eruption and ovation was specifically in favor of his position and his call for “unyielding resolve” in defending Ukraine and its people.

@ShadowofEzra Clapping in this regard can just be a sign of respect to The king for travelling to the United States and speaking in front of Congress, for the end of the speech, and just a general acknowledgement that the room listened. It doesn’t have to mean that they agree with him
