This weekend I got sucked into the ultimate theater kid story game with DJ who ran Curse of Macho Man Randy Strahd in Transyl Mania.
It was silly, but he embraced and sold the premise well! Very creative and fun DM, drew me in on a playstyle very different from my own!

@archive_keeper @Gingerblast I wrote it, and have run it... I'm guessing 15 times now and it's a hoot every time.
I have plans to publish it... whenever my copious spare time allows!
I'm wanting to upload custom mini STL's for people to print, as there's a few awesome surprises in it!

@Gingerblast I just wish they had their own room to play it in, Friday night they ran it in the Fireside room which is the open tables room, and it absolutely dominated the noise there, we had to lean forward and yell over the bell ringing, and the music, and all the hoots and hollars... 😮💨

@JeremyECrawford Clarification on new Surprise. The book doesn't specify requirements, nor roll for obtaining surprise. It states what happens when one is surprised, they have disadvantage. The way I'm reading it, the DM entirely just decides if surprise exists. Correct?

@Corgiboltz I art directed the “Axe Body Spray: Mojo Master” advergame. A card game where the objective is to “play moves” to “hit on chicks”. Yeah. That was a thing.

Games are hard to make. Regardless of the score, every project has positives/lessons learned.
I display my "lowest score" game because I'm proud of the time I had working with some of my favorite people in this industry.

@RichardGarriott Ultima IV complete! (Working my way through the whole series right now). I got to the end in Jr High 35 years ago, but I don’t think I ever completed it before today! Thanks for the awesome game, which eventually led to my career in GameDev! I owe you a lot!
