Of all the people I expected to speak up during Covid, Sandra was one of them. As one of the people responsible for NZ's informed consent laws, I thought it would have been a no-brainer for her to weigh in on the active trampling of said laws at the time. Bribery, coercion, social exclusion and punishment, mandates, a glaring lack of information on a clearly experimental product, and the active suppression of safety signals should have been a neon flashing light to any and all concerned about informed consent and consumer safety. But it wasn't. When it came to the crunch, these people were nowhere to be seen or heard. Only now, five years after the fact, does it appear to be 'safe' enough to speak. Yes, I am glad something is finally being said. But the silence when those voices would have counted most will continue to be a great disappointment to me. Their voices would have saved lives and young hearts. Their cowardice cost them.

NASA spent two years figuring out why, concluded it was gas pressure building up inside the material during reentry, and decided not to replace the shield. They changed the flight path instead. Steeper angle, less time in the danger zone. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said publicly that this approach "is not the right way to do things long term." The capsule will slow from 25,000 mph to 17 mph in thirteen minutes. Parachutes don't even deploy until the last four. Everything before that is managed by a curved piece of titanium and glue entering air twice as hot as the Sun. Tomorrow at 5:07 PM Pacific, San Diego might hear a sonic boom. That sound is four people betting their lives on NASA's math being right.

Hey @grok this clip of the Moon was filmed by a civilian using an amateur telescope from his backyard. So why is it that NASA, with unlimited resources, can’t or won’t, deploy a telescope on Artemis II, or any of the 10,000 satellites - to film & zoom in on the Earth from space. It should be so simple and everyone wants to see it, so why won’t NASA do this @grok ?

The ISS circles the earth once every 90 minutes. Of the seven crew members aboard the ISS, no one thought it would be a good idea to film Artemis 2 lifting off and punching through the atmosphere from the perspective of space? It could have been one of the most historic sites ever filmed.

100 Mile Race Complete. Wish I had better news about my performance. Sadly, anything that could have gone wrong did. The temps wiped me out, and I never recovered from it. I found myself unable to pee for about 8 hours and had to walk the last 25 miles. I’ll be out for a while.😮‍💨
