That’s been the playbook for decades…Reagan, Clinton, Obama, Bush, Trump, Biden, all did it. Trump’s strike on Soleimani? - Defensive action to stop an imminent attack (that’s what the intel said). - Told Congress right after. - Used his commander-in-chief authority + existing AUMFs. 🚨Totally legal under the rules everyone’s played by forever.🚨 So when Democrats and certain congress critters scream “He broke the law!” today about Iran… they’re either clueless or deliberately lying to you.
