#CycloneRuby is now a Category 1 Tropical Cyclone as it tracks away from the equator & is also weakened further by low pressure over the #NewZealand area. While the gales remain offshore, Ruby's Remnants (cool name for a band 🥁🎸) help bring more rain into eastern parts of NZ.
