Dear @CIA, @FBI, etc. I SWEAR these items are for museum education use and museum education use ONLY 👀. Nothing nefarious. Thank you! ♥️ #whenyouworkatamuseum#museumedchat
Hi Museum Educators!
I’m looking for museums (and other organizations) that offer live virtual field trips for school groups to share with my teaching colleagues. Send me your links, please 😊

?: What learning programs/materials will go with exhibit, how will school groups interact? Noted that the Learning Center has a Native person on staff, and a committee of Native people who advises learning, to ensure those voices are a part of what's created. #MuseumEdChat 13/
A1: Hi all! I’m Felicia (she/her) & work as the School Programs Manager at Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation. I’ve been involved in museum ed for a decade. Also, I sit on the VAM Council and run a peer group chat monthly for museum educators. #MuseumEdChat
Ok #MuseumEdChat, please keep chatting, answering the questions, and posing new ones! I'll check back on the hashtag all week, and hope to see you again. Looking for ideas for next time, and open to anyone hosting. I just wanted to bring it back.
A5. Also considering hybrid pieces to the summer camp program. I'm writing the curriculum, but the (paid) college students who are teaching it are the ones who will be fully in-person with the youth. I'll be digital much of the time for their training. #MuseumEdChat
@JarynAbdallah For someone who focuses on digital learning, I use a lot of post-it notes too! And paper notebooks for each consulting client, and a paper planner so I can see my week and to-do list at a glance. There is something about paper and pen... #MuseumEdChat
@MirandaRHK Yeah - I think I'm landing on creating some sort of criteria for the raffles, galas, auctions... Are our missions aligned? Is it supporting our community? #MuseumEdChat
@TangerineShark@JarynAbdallah Oh yea! Oh you could give a couple passes to a new program or a new tour you're trying to get the word out about vs. general admission. I like that. #MuseumEdChat
@JarynAbdallah It helps to even say it out loud, "that's a lot." But I truly have missed #MuseumEdChat and the connection it brought me, especially now that I work more independently.
Q5. This feels like a theme among a lot of answers, so let's help one another out. What are you doing to readjust back to "normal" or "being back in person" or running a program again for the first time? What thigns have you had to consider? #MuseumEdChat
