@DALupton Imagine someone with incapable academic credentials in biodiversity and climate modelling. They point at you that masks waste is a significant contributor to climate change and species disappearance - what would you do? Compare your lists of publications? Do a piss contest?

@get_inflow - this question should read "How often do you...?" , not "Do you often...?". For F's sake you're targeting neuro-divergent folks and you don't even have an autistic person on staff to proofread the questions? I contract from US$100 p.h. fyi. #nothingaboutus ?

"Since its heyday at the end of the Little Ice Age—in which the ramifications of its explosion dropped the Earth’s temperature by one degree—scientists have known it shot off in the 1830s " What is that supposed to mean @VICE ? vice.com/en/article/a-v…

Last - and this is even explicited in the article, the return is tax-free. Hello? The article rightfully call them "professionals". NSW is purposedfully creating a "professional" activity, without any form of social protection, worker's comp insurance etc....

Back in Europe 25 years ago, at Uni, the student assoc. had a can crushing disposal machine, justifying a trip to (or from) the next person in the chain only after enough metal has been accumulated - in an efficient storage form.

theguardian.com/environment/20… This is ridiculous. Good policies would be A/ incentivizing real reduce/repair/recyclebehaviours B/ build efficient recycling systems C/ tackling unemployment, under-employment and predatory underpaid gig economy. Instead, in NSW...

Options to select the type of job are purely for decorum. Striking metaphor of the whole recruitment industry.

abc.net.au/news/2024-12-1… "remains were found wrapped in plastic bag" "As I said previously, we thought there was a third party involved," Just in case someone thought the victim would have wrapped themselves up after their death.

@AE_WaitWhat @LaocoonofTroy @wil_da_beast630 In the 80s, parents were ashamed to recognise autism and therefore did not want a Dx. Now it's the opposite. It gives an easy excuse for anything. Where there's a demand, there will be offer.

@AE_WaitWhat @LaocoonofTroy @wil_da_beast630 "Boys vaccinated as neonates" are highly correlated with "boys whose parents are closely monitoring verbal progress and seek a diagnostic as soon as something falls below average".

Vaccines do not cause autism. If they did, you'd see consistent correlations between modern medicine and autism across dozens of countries, for a start. What "causes autism" in the USA, frankly and at least as re recent surges, is probably mis- and over-diagnosis of autism.
