If this proposal is approved, users will no longer be able to trade or add liquidity via these three blockchains following the removal. Operations on all other blockchains will remain unaffected.

You are right that @Scroll_ZKP and @taikoxyz are relatively quiet too, and we are monitoring them as well. However, as of now, those three (@MantaNetwork, @0xPolygon zkEVM, and @zksync) are basically ghost towns. Our evaluation was based on overall activity monitored by @l2beat, combined with our own statistics on Deri-related usage.

The Cloudflare outage was a classic single point of failure. A super-centralized system is super vulnerable.

It's not even about slowing down AI progress. It is more about ensuring that proper safeguards are in place and that profit maximization for stakeholders is not the primary focus. I recommend adopting yellow teaming as a way to address AI super-advancement.
The advantage of game-theoretic scenarios is that we can always modify incentive structures to alter the nature and outcomes of the games.

This is a classic prisoner's dilemma scenario: due to competition between companies and nations, it's simply impossible to voluntarily or involuntarily slow down AI progress. Like it or not, we have to contend with a future where significant AI advancements have already occurred.

My response to AI 2027: vitalik.eth.limo/general/2025/0… The AI 2027 post is high quality, I encourage people to read it at ai-2027.com I argue a misaligned AI will not be able to win nearly as easily as the AI 2027 scenario assumes, because it greatly underrates our ability to protect ourselves, especially given the (pretty magical) technologies that the authors admit will be available in 2029 in their scenario.

Very interesting point!
DAT has no pressure to sell its token holdings in the short term, which everybody agrees with. However, @0xVeryBigOrange points out that they also have no such pressure in the long term, which I agree with.
