Take every single thing out of the room except the bed. No toys at all. No clothes at all. You lay out a set of clothes for the day. When she returns the cloths she wore into the hamper, she is allowed another outfit. She can earn a toy back by keeping her room tidy for a week. Be firm and do not negotiate with her.

I’m embarrassed asf to post this, but HELP.
How do I make this stop? I clean it for her, it still ends up like this.. she cleans it, she cries about it and it still ends up like this.. I’m OVER it.
I tried grounding her. Taking electronics. Cleaning it for her. Helping her clean it. & NOTHING.PHASES.HER. She genuinely doesn’t care. I told her yesterday “if your room doesn’t get cleaned today, you’re grounded” she looked at me and said “ok? I don’t care.” I even asked to remove it because once a person came to us for an order that they ordered from my store, Tedooo app, it was such a shame that the buyer accidentally saw it.
We don’t live nasty. Our house is always spotless. HOW DO I GET MY GrandKID TO JUST KEEP A CLEAN DANG ROOM? She’s 8 if that makes any difference for any type of tips, ya girl is tired.........
