It doesn’t require hiring an additional staff member this can be a valuable opportunity for an assistant coach to expand their role, build their résumé, and develop relationships with college programs.
Having a dedicated point person for recruiting helps ensure that athlete information, film, and communication with college coaches are organized and handled efficiently, ultimately creating more opportunities for players in the program

San Diego State punter Hunter Green decides to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Green is from Redmond, Washington. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up closer to home. His father played at Washington. Expect @AztecFB backup punter Tashi Dorje, who announced for the portal on Sunday, to now remain at SDSU. Dorje had three punts this season, averaging 50 yards with a long of 60.

@chriscfore In LA City the center can snap the ball to QB, QB hands ball off to RB, RB gets tackled gives the ball to ref, ref spots the ball center snaps it again. But if there was an incomplete pass the ball had to be removed and we needed a new one 😂

My favorite Covid related sports rule here in California was watching my son play basketball on the court with no mask, then having to mask up when he sat on the bench. That was brilliant Governor Newsom!

@chriscfore My favorite were the guidelines for HS Football games. Captains can't shake hands and teams would walk to the hashes and wave at each other... But yeah, lets spend two and a half hours blocking and tackling each other. Spread out on the sidelines, but huddle for the play call.

For instance, my little continuation school of 210 kids has a huge budget, thanks to something called the Equity Multiplier. I have $3,500 per student. Which is a ton compared to most schools. NONE of this could be used on sports, if we had them.

A Town Hall tonight regarding Pasadena Unified Budget cuts could decide the leagues next year for all sports. There has been talk of eliminating sports at Blair and Marshall highs. Would be sad especially after millions were spent in recent years on facilities at Blair.
