Nah, it's not just them. People in the right will genuinely advocate for the death of trans people and mock their suicide. I see behavior like this and general lack of empathy on both sides almost daily, I can pull plenty of examples. Both sides are filled to the brim with deeply disturbed and desensitized people. Honestly it's a more general problem (especially on the internet) than something that's a majority on one side of the political spectrum. People are just horrible to each other nowadays and have zero respect for anyone not in their camp.
