However, we thought we could get him at a lower price, NF wants record fees and we value him at a lower price. If it were lower I think we'd get him. Im glad we aren't.

One key factor in all of this is that as Ornstein mentioned, Scott and Fernandes WANT to play for the club - there have been no hints from Anderson that he wants to play for us. I think United are much more willing to spend money on a player who prefers United over other clubs. As was the case for Mbeumo and Sesko.

Manchester United fans I’m genuinely asking this question about Marcus. What did Marcus Rashford do to deserve the hatred of the fan base or it because Ruben Amorim said so? We don’t have to pay for a transfer fee for a striker now and we won’t still take him, we don’t have to pay a transfer fee for a winger and we still won’t accept him back. Don’t forget he’s a proper Manchester United lad, born and bred in Red. You can’t get a more experienced premier league striker or winger than Rashy. So why the hate from #mufc fans? Tracking back they will say, when did defending become the work of a striker? Everyone has his attributes as a player. So again, where did it go wrong for Rashford and United fans?
